Welcome to Positivity. By downloading, installing, or using the Positivity mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Positivity is a mobile application that provides:

• Daily Bible devotionals and reflections
• Aggregated positive news from curated sources
• Community features for sharing stories, prayer requests, and comments
• Faith-based community groups
• Push notifications for daily devotionals and community updates

3. User Accounts

To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Community Guidelines

Positivity is committed to maintaining a positive, uplifting, and respectful community rooted in Christian values. When using the App, you agree not to:

• Post content that is hateful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory
• Share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or graphic
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Post spam, advertisements, or solicitations
• Share false or misleading information
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Post content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent content moderation systems

5. Content Moderation

All user-submitted content (stories, comments, and prayer requests) is subject to review by our AI-assisted moderation system and/or human moderators. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or modify content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our guidelines
• Use AI technology to assess content for safety and alignment with community standards

Content moderation decisions may be reviewed and overruled by human administrators.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By posting content on Positivity, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating the service. You represent that you have the right to share any content you post.

7. News Content

The App aggregates news articles from third-party sources. We do not claim ownership of this content. News articles are presented with attribution to their original sources. The views expressed in aggregated news articles do not necessarily reflect the views of R Software or the Positivity App.

8. Devotional Content

Daily devotionals include Bible verses, reflections, and prayer prompts. Bible verses are sourced from publicly available translations. Reflections and prayer prompts are original content created for the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and original content, is the property of R Software and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any content posted by users or aggregated from third-party sources.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, R Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@thepositivity.app.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
