R Software ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Positivity mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided). You may also sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In, which provides us with basic profile information.
• User Content: Stories, comments, prayer requests, and other content you submit through the App.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous analytics data about how you use the App, including features accessed, session duration, and engagement patterns. This data is collected through Firebase Analytics.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and performance monitoring through Firebase Crashlytics.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send you daily devotional reminders and community updates.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Deliver daily devotionals and push notifications
• Enable community features (stories, comments, prayer requests, groups)
• Moderate content to maintain a safe, positive community
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the App experience
• Respond to support requests

3. Content Moderation

To maintain a safe and uplifting community, submitted content (stories, comments, and prayer requests) may be reviewed by AI-assisted moderation systems and/or human moderators. This process evaluates content for alignment with our community guidelines and does not involve sharing your content with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) for authentication, data storage, analytics, and crash reporting. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing of this data.
• Public Content: Stories you publish and comments you post are visible to other App users. Prayer requests may be visible to the community depending on your settings.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, which employs industry-standard encryption and security measures. Account data is stored in Firebase Authentication, and content is stored in Firebase Firestore. Profile images and media are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View the personal information we hold about you through your profile settings
• Update: Edit your profile information at any time
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@thepositivity.app
• Opt Out: Disable push notifications through your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — for secure user sign-in
• Firebase Firestore — for data storage
• Firebase Cloud Storage — for media storage
• Firebase Analytics — for anonymous usage analytics
